Monica Gagnon
Monica Gagnon is a Research Fellow with the Canada Excellence Research Chair (CERC) in Migration and Integration at 成人大片. She researches the ways in which discourses of citizenship and belonging influence bordering in immigration and health policy and practice. Her work sits at the intersection of immigration and health care, focusing on Canada and the United States. In her doctoral dissertation Monica analyzed the discourse of 鈥渂irth tourism鈥 and its implications for access to health coverage for newborns in Ontario. Monica holds a PhD in public health from the University of Toronto and a MPH in health policy from the City University of New York.
