"Leaving Room for Imagination" As a novelist, playwright and screenwriter as well as literary historian, constantly moves along the spectrum that runs from fact to fiction. Best known for her novels inspired by real cases whether contemporary ( Room, filming in Toronto right now) or historical ( Frog Music, The Sealed Letter), she will talk about a career in which she lapsed -- or, it could be said, springboarded -- from the academic track.
