Ed 叠茅肠丑补谤诲-罢辞谤谤别蝉 is an assistant professor in the Lincoln Alexander School of Law. He is broadly interested in the relationship between constitutional law and political economy. His research projects have taken up how courts can contribute to the fulfillment of socio-economic human rights, and how 鈥渢ransformative鈥 constitutional projects can influence commercial and corporate law. His research is comparative and bridges jurisdictions in the Global 鈥淪outh鈥 and 鈥淣orth鈥. 

Prior to joining the Faculty, 叠茅肠丑补谤诲-罢辞谤谤别蝉 was a Scholar in Residence at New York University鈥檚 Center for Human Rights and Global Justice. He holds a DCL from McGill University, an LLM from the University of Cambridge, and a joint BCL/LLB from McGill. He is from Montreal and is Venezuelan-Canadian. 

叠茅肠丑补谤诲-罢辞谤谤别蝉 clerked for Justice Suzanne C么t茅 at the Supreme Court of Canada, and for Justice Pierre Dalphond at the Quebec Court of Appeal. He has also practiced commercial litigation in leading firms in Quebec, appearing before various levels of court. In 2018, he assisted the amici curiae in the landmark Vavilov and Bell appeals before the Supreme Court.

Professor 叠茅肠丑补谤诲-罢辞谤谤别蝉 serves on the Human Rights Expert Panel of Canada鈥檚 Court Challenges Program (CCP). First appointed when joining the faculty in 2022, he was reappointed in 2025 by the Hon. Marc Miller, Minister of Canadian Heritage, for a four-year term ending November 2029. The Panel is responsible for assessing funding applications and allocating resources to support test case Charter litigation in matters of national importance.
