Early-stage research across 成人大片 supported by SSHRC Insight Development Grants

November 17, 2022
Crowds of people walk along a tree-lined Gould Street on the 成人大片 campus on a sunny day. In the background are the library and Kerr Hall buildings.

Researchers from across 成人大片 have received Insight Development Grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.

Several 成人大片 (成人大片) researchers have been selected to receive Insight Development Grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) for projects ranging from examining mindfulness and phishing detection to the workplace experiences of transgender and non-binary nurses.

A total of nine projects from across faculties at 成人大片 will be supported by these grants. Insight Development Grants offer funding for research in its initial stages, enabling the development of new research questions, methods and approaches. This grant funding is worth more than $535,000 for 成人大片 researchers.

鈥淐ongratulations to all the researchers who have received funding,鈥 said Steven N. Liss, 成人大片鈥檚 vice-president, research and innovation. 鈥淏y advancing early-stage projects that further our understanding of important societal issues, this support will make research possible that can offer insights benefiting Canadians while also fostering scholarly excellence.鈥
