Overview

Michael Baumtrog is an Associate Professor in the Department of Law and Business at the Ted Rogers School of Management. He is also co-editor-in-chief of the journal Informal Logic. He completed his PhD in philosophy at NOVA University of Lisbon (Universidade Nova de Lisboa), Portugal in 2015, while also completing the Argupolis II doctoral training program at Universit脿 della Svizzera italiana, Lugano. His specializations are in reasoning and ethics, and he works to use both areas of study to make practical improvements in the real world.

Applied ethics, practical reasoning, critical thinking, social epistemology.
