DAS is pleased to co-host 鈥淎rchitecture for a Sustainable Future - The Vision of Mario Cucinella鈥, the first Canadian exhibition dedicated to the work of internationally acclaimed architect Mario Cucinella and his Bologna and Milan-based studio, . Presented in partnership with , a key program of the (ICFF), the exhibition highlights the depth and vision of Cucinella鈥檚 architectural practice.

Celebrated for his innovative and sustainable approach to architecture, Cucinella brings to Toronto a compelling body of work that bridges design excellence with environmental and social consciousness. The exhibition offers an immersive look at some of his most significant contributions to the field.

Exhibition Highlights:

Visitors will explore a series of iconic projects that reflect a new model of sustainability rooted in creative empathy.

At the center are three large-scale models showcasing key works: the  in Milan,  in Tuscany, and the  in the north of Italy.

The exhibition unfolds across four thematic pillars 鈥 Environmental Quality, Life Quality, Life Cycle, and Past & Future 鈥 which frame MCA鈥檚 holistic approach to regenerative architecture as a space for research, experimentation and innovation.

Central to the gallery is the Research-in-Action Table, an interactive hub featuring models, prototypes, books, and original research, offering insight into the studio鈥檚 creative process.

MCA uses this exhibition to deliver a double message: the urgent need for architecture to address environmental and social challenges through sustainable, lifecycle-conscious design and the deeper call for a paradigm shift 鈥 one that reconnects humans and nature through creativity, empathy, and a vision of regenerative development that prioritizes life quality, equity and the well-being of our planet.
