Students in the Department of Chemistry and Biology are an active bunch. There are lots of science-related activities going on, and also lots to explore in downtown Toronto. The university has several zones where students across disciplines can incubate ideas, get involved in start-ups, and access mentorship and support. Come to a Zone Learning event and discover what students, researchers, business mentors and industry partners are working on. Attend a boot camp, workshop, or networking event.
The Science Lounge is a special space reserved for Faculty of Science students. Grab a spot to study or do group work, book the lounge for a special event, or just come to hang out with friends.
Try out for a competition, attend a conference, or even present your research. Our students are active in the Southern Ontario Undergraduate Student Chemistry Conference, the , and the Ontario Biology Day conference that showcases undergraduate researchers in Biology and Life Sciences, and .
