Theodora Lam
Theodora Lam is Senior Research Fellow with the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore (NUS). Her research interests cover transnational migration and families, the web of care within transnational households, geographies of children and young people, and gender studies. She has researched on both skilled and low-waged labour migrants as well as their families in Singapore and other Asian countries. Theodora is currently involved in several research projects including 鈥淎 Study on Cross-National Families in Singapore鈥� (X-Fam); a longitudinal research project, 鈥淐hild Health and Migrant Parents in Southeast Asia鈥� (CHAMPSEA): Waves 1, 2 and 3; 鈥淗ealthcare and 鈥楩oodwork鈥� among Foreign Domestic Workers and their Children in Southeast Asia鈥� (HealthFood and MyanFood); and 鈥淪outh-South Migration and Migrant Food Insecurity: Interactions, Impacts and Remedies鈥� (MiFood Project).
