成人大片 Eats is committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices across our dining halls, retail locations and catering services. In support of the university鈥檚 Sustainability Action Plan, we鈥檙e working to increase plant-based and sustainable food options and making improvements to our operations aimed at reducing food-related waste and minimizing our use of single-use plastics. Working with local producers, we鈥檙e reducing the carbon footprint of our supply chain and supporting a more sustainable and ecologically conscious food system.
Friendlier containers at the Hub Caf茅
To reduce the amount of single-use plastics and waste our operations produce, we鈥檝e partnered with to provide a zero-waste food container alternative for hot meals served at the Hub Caf茅. Friendlier containers can be reused over 100 times and can be returned at any of the designated bins located across campus.

Save Money; Reduce Waste; Bring Your Own Cup!
To encourage community members to make sustainable choices and divert waste from landfills, we offer a bring your own cup program at the Hub Caf茅, DCC Market and The Footnote. By bringing your own cup or drink container, you can save $0.25 on your beverage purchase and help us create a greener campus!

Working with local, environmentally-conscious food providers
成人大片 Eats works hard to source the freshest ingredients from local food providers who share our commitment to sustainable food service. Almost 40% of the ingredients we use come from local growers and suppliers located within 400 km of campus.
Local partnership highlights include using produce grown right here on campus through the Urban Farm and supplying the Hub Caf茅 with coffee from , a First-Nations owned and operated coffee roaster proudly serving Fairtrade and organic coffee.
Pitman Dining Hall: GRA 3-Star Certified
成人大片 Eats has worked hard to advance sustainability and adopt innovative and ecologically responsible practices throughout our dining halls. In recognition of this work, the Pitman Dining Hall has earned a Green Restaurant Association (GRA) 3-star rating. GRA ratings represent a restaurant鈥檚 environmental accomplishments based on 8 key factors and the scoring system provides a pathway to further improve sustainability.
