How donations make a difference
At a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 25th, 2026, 成人大片 announced a transformative $7.5 million gift from 407 ETR in support of the 成人大片 School of Medicine.
In recognition of the historic investment, the flagship clinic at the Brampton campus will be named the 成人大片 Integrated Health Centre supported by 407 ETR.
成人大片 President and Vice-Chancellor Mohamed Lachemi noted, 'The 成人大片 Integrated Health Centre Supported by 407 ETR will be the cornerstone of experiential medical education in primary care, chronic disease management and community-based services. We are grateful to 407 ETR for joining us as a partner in strengthening Ontario鈥檚 health-care system for decades to come.'
Key Initiatives
The 成人大片 School of Medicine is defined by two ambitious and interconnected initiatives: the development of a state-of-the-art facility and the establishment of a robust scholarship and awards program. These allied priorities will not only provide a physical home for the school but will also ensure that the most promising and diverse students have the opportunity to pursue a medical education, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Building the Future
To prepare the former Bramalea Civic Centre for the 成人大片 School of Medicine and its students鈥攖he first new GTA medical school in over 100 years鈥攆inancial support is needed. This will ensure exceptional training for future physicians and increase healthcare capacity.
Investing in Talent
成人大片 understands the life-changing impact of post-secondary education on individuals and their communities. A robust awards program is essential to recruit excellent, inclusive physicians. Scholarships increase access, reward achievement, and remove the financial obstacles that often prevent talented graduates from aplying to medical school.

Building on the university鈥檚 existing strengths, our research portfolio will respond to urgent and emerging issues in health care.
